I’m first and foremost a family man, father of 4, and am happily married. I strongly recommend putting those things first and foremost. Regardless of your station in life you are very welcome to hang out here and comment if you can at least be somewhat respectful.

I’m a business owner. I’m a church goer. For hobbies I’m into gadgets, mountain biking (although haven’t done much since I moved back east in 2001), handyman-type projects, and I like to tinker around with musical instruments.

I’m way too busy to maintain this blog. Way too busy. What was I thinking even starting it? Oh yeah … I remember why. Nearly everytime I comment on something people tell me they never thought of it that way. I guess I tend to look at things sideways.

“From the side” might have been a more appropriate title for my blog, but not as clever as “whorled view” (play on world view) and we must be clever, mustn’t we? Anyway, it seemed like maybe a sideways perspective might be useful in a world of plain and predictable observations.
